First Night in Concord Cancelled

In my article, New Hampshire Rings in 2001, I listed Concord as one of the cities holding a First Night celebration. I was incorrect. Organizers of the Concord First Night have cancelled the event for this year. In the past few years attendence has been low due to bad weather. Last year, First Night in Concord was scaled back due to bomb threats. Apparently, this loss of revenue forced organizers to cancel First Night 2001 in Concord. The Portsmouth and Wolfeboro First Night celebrations will gone on as scheduled.

I can only offer my sincere apologies if my mistake has caused you any inconvenience. I am truly sorry.
