Other compounds under study

Several other compounds have been shown to lower tumor interstitial fluid pressure, but further study is necessary to demonstrate that they can increase drug uptake. They include transforming growth factor beta antagonists, hyaluronidase, dexamethazone, and nicotinamide (a vitamin derivative).
