Her words reflected

the timeless documents

of my existence.

I allowed her eyes to practice

their dance on the pages.

I allowed her breath to become

the winds that turn them

and so my history is sung

inside the gusts of her whistles.

Sing to me songs

that sits sauteed in my ears

with the marination of your

likes and dislikes.

Strengths and weaknesses.

Sunshines and rainfalls.

Rumors and secrets.

Sing to me

and burrow me deep into sections

of my heart where only poetry and

memories of ancestors celebrate.

Sing to me

songs that are gospels

told to my heart

and truths told to my soul.

Sing to me Neo.

from the timeless

documents of my existence

and make me fall in love

with who I am again.
