While the Big Ten remained upset-free, both No. 10 Ohio State and No. 11 Purdue nearly found themselves on the business end of upsets. With the Cincinatti Bearcats, fresh of an upset of Wisconsin, leading 17-3 in the second quarter and looking to score again after an interception, the Buckeye defense held Cincy scoreless on the drive. Brees, who continues his Heisman campaign next week against the Wolverines, finished 32 of 50 for 405 yards and three touchdowns.
