WISCONSIN (11-1) - Okay, so the Badgers took a lot of heat for a weak schedule last season. But they did beat Penn State and UCLA, and they did win the Rose Bowl, so you have to give Wisconsin their due. This season, the gang from Madison sets out to prove themselves with a far tougher schedule, including games at Ohio State and Purdue, and home against Michigan. Its time to put up or shut up.
TULANE (12-0) - Just when fans of the Green Wave thought they were in football heaven, it turns into gridiron hell. Sure, Tulane was a great team last year. They finished 12-0, they beat BYU in the Liberty Bowl, and they earned the respect of this reporter who voted them the No. 2 team in the country in the Sportseditor.com Online Sports Media College Football Poll. But that was then, and this is now. With no Tommy Bowden, no Shaun King, and only three starters back on defense, expect this to be a long season in New Orleans.
