Too Attached?

So are we too attached? I don't think that's possible. My hope for my daughter is not true independence, but interdependence, in which she will have the confidence to act on her own and also to ask for help when she needs it. Interdependence grows naturally, according to each child's own rate of development, out of an attached and trusting relationship.
