Natural health is a lifestyle which integrates all aspects of existence, spiritual, emotional, physical, social, environmental. Learn to speak the language of natural health.
The first article on this site was published on May 19, 1998. In over three years, I have never explained the goals of this site, "Natural Health." That simply is not my style of teaching. I prefer to jump right into a topic and show people what it is all about rather than to explain it. In about 30 years of teaching German, I never explained to a class why they were there. I just started speaking German to them from the moment they walked into my classroom, and before my students knew it, they were all speaking the language. The purpose of the course was never explained, but I know one thing for sure: Everyone learned to speak German. My students spoke the language with me inside and outside the classroom, and some of them were never quite sure whether I understood English or not.
In the classroom, I judge the success of my teaching by the learning of my students. The same principle applies to my online "Natural Health" classroom. I want you, my readers, to feel so comfortable at this site that you will learn the language of natural health. If you already spoke it before you arrived, hopefully you will gain a deeper appreciation of the topic. If on top of that I can convince you that I do not understand any other lifestyle than that of natural health, then I have met my expectations.
What is Natural Health?
I have purposely never told you what the term "Natural Health" means to me. I would rather that you tell me what it means to you. Many of my articles are based on reader responses and requests. From what I have gathered from your feedback, I believe that you, my readers, understand the goal of this site very well.
This is how I define "Natural Health" in the description of the site:
Living in harmony with the creator and his creation is the basis of natural health. It encompasses all areas of life, spiritual, emotional, physical, social, and environmental.
Holistic Principles
I was raised to look at life from a holistic viewpoint. It considers all aspects of life to be interrelated. The creator and his entire creation are connected like the various parts of a body. None of them function independently. Not even the creator is able to exist without his creation.
