#03 team dissolves… Magic Shoes in #39 Ford owned by Jay Robinson for Daytona… Kyle Busch to run for Hendrick in ACRA and limited Busch Series races… Busch Series may need sponsor… #03 team dissolves… Just when everyone thought Angela's Motorsports was having a good test the team is gone. After having so many good things happen to them this happens. Robert Yates Racing wasn't paid $15,000 and got all of its engines and/or cars out of the shop. Jay Robinson Racing bought a chunk of the cars and the equipment for its own use in the 2003 season with driver Derrick Cope. Magic Shoes will drive for Jay at Daytona. Magic Shoes to drive for Jay Robinson Racing for Daytona… Since Angela's Motorsports is dissolved and will not return at all, Jay Robinson will lend a hand to Magic Shoes and give him a ride for Daytona. They will enter Robinson's second car #39. They need sponsorship for the race but Mike has formed a group so he can find the funding needed to run the Daytona 300. Its still unclear weither Mike has a ride with RYR after Daytona or if he is a free agent. Kyle Busch signs with Hendrick for limited ARCA and Busch Series Schedule… 17-year-old Kyle Busch has NOT signed with Roush Racing, instead he signed with Hendrick Motorsports and will run a limited ARCA and Busch Series schedule in 2003. Busch, who turns 18 in May, will run 7 NBS races in 2003 to get ready for the full time 2004 schedule. Kyle was OFFERED a deal with Roush Racing but signed a multi-year deal with Hendrick Motorsports. Little history lesson, last time Rick Hendrick signed away a driver from Ford Motor Company, was in 1992 with Jeff Gordon. Kyle Busch is the younger brother of Winston Cup Star Kurt Busch. Busch Series might need sponsor… RJR and its Winston brand are looking into the possibility of getting out of the NASCAR Series all together. They left the Weekly Racing Series to Dodge, which is now know as the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series presented by Dodge. One rumored sponsor is Busch Beer and Budweiser. That might lead us to wonder what may be come of the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series. Maybe it might become the NASCAR Budweiser Grand National Series and what's now Winston Cup might become the NASCAR Busch Cup Series.
