Biffle steals win from Hornaday and wins Charter Pipeline 250...

Last weekend we were talking about Greg Biffle not getting his 8th top 5 in a row but now Biffle has 9 top 10's in a row. From the start Ron Hornaday was the race leader and it appeared that his #26 Chevy was going to win. Every time that Greg Biffle got up to the bumper he got the dreaded 'areo push' and couldn't get the lead. The only way that Biffle could get the lead is if his pit crew had a better pit stop than Hornaday. Well that's how Biffle got the lead and never looked back. If you want to know how many cautions there were then just look at how many were at the Cup race. It wasn't that many but it still were a lot of yellow flags. Cautions bring cautions is the term that was the case at Gateway.

Hornaday and the team disappointed about 2nd...

Ron Hornaday seemed to have the best car and could have one. If he did it would have been the #26 team first career win as a team. Hornaday, a two-time champion of the Craftsman Truck Series, finished second. That was his best finish of the 2002 season. Hornaday has had many good races in this car since David Carroll released Lyndon Amick in the beginning of the 2002 season. Last year Bobby Hamilton Jr. drove for Carroll but didn't get a win.

Keller, LaJoie get together in the early going...

Jason Keller (driver of the #57 Ford) got together with Randy LaJoie (driver of the #7 Chevy) got together in the beginning and nearly wrecked. If there was a wreck Keller would be down in the points but since he didn't he is only 72 points out of the lead.

Biffle still on a tear...

Before this streak began Greg Biffle had 0 wins. Now as the streak continues he has 3 wins 7 top 5's 8 top 10's and has a 72-point over Jason Keller and has a goal of that first championship. Last week Greg made it official that he would be running the #16 Grainger Ford in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series.
