FOX ends coverage of the NASCAR Busch Series for the 2002 season...

First time out in the night Front-Row Joe wins GNC Live Well 250...

The first ever GNC Live Well 250 under the lights in the Daytona International Speedway. The race started out about 8:00 p.m. after rain canceled the Winston Cup Happy Hour and the track team dried the track out for the start of the GNC Live Well 250. This was FX last race of the season. The first 20 laps were boring. Joe Nemocheck took the lead and stayed in the lead. Then at lap 25 one of the 4 cautions lights when to yellow and there was none. Since all of that rain fell the NASCAR officials decided to make the caution happen. So at lap 33 the first caution came out for the GNC Live Well 250 at Daytona. Since everyone had to pit at lap 50-55 the leaders came down pit road and Joe Nemocheck took only 2 tires but knew he had to pit again and so they thought they could go the rest of the way on the tires and had to pit for gas only. So one caution after the other lead to a 2-lap shootout between Greg Biffle and Joe Nemocheck. Nemocheck had four tires and so did Biffle. Greg followed Nemocheck around the track and finished second. Joe won his first race of he 2002 season and his first in 8 starts. Greg has now finished 1st (twice), second (twice) in the last 4 races.

Compton started in the back and still finished well after missing 'big one'...

Stacy Compton originally was going to start 6th on the starting grid but NASCAR disallowed his lap after they found in post qualifying that he had something wrong with the back shocks. Stacy went through about 3 wrecks and still managed a good finished after the 'big one'. He was right behind Kasey Kahne when Kasey went throw mid air during the big one. Stacy had no damage from the wreck to repair. Jack Sprague started the big one and Stacy was rite in the middle of it.
