Biffle starts on pole, then loses lead to Wimmer and gets it back to win Milwaukee for second time in a row...

Greg Biffle won the pole for the GNC Live Well 250 at Milwaukee and then lead 130+ laps to win the GNC Live Well 250. In the beginning of the race the word was DNF. First Brian Webber crashed and then the engine troubles began. Scott Riggs, second in points coming into Milwaukee, had his engine go sour. Then later on Kerry Earnhardt and Shane Hmiel got together and sent Kerry into the wall. Kerry wasn't to happy about Shane pushing him into the wall and who would be happy anyway? What didn't help was the temperature. It was 91 degress when the race started, and the track tempature was 124 degrees. As the day went on more and more cars had DNF next to their name. Only 28 of the 43 cars finished the GNC Live Well 250. Last year 30 of the 43 cars was at the finish of the race. As for the way Greg Biffle won the race it was a restart that won him the race. On the last cauiton Tony Raines had to pit giving Scott Wimmer the race lead. Then on the restart Greg Biffle came from fifth to the race lead and took it and never looked back. Although it look like Jason Keller was going to take the lead in the late stages Greg held on for his 2nd win of the 2002 season and the 7th of his NASCAR Busch Series career.

Local Driver Jim Sauter joins the boys...

On Sunday for the first time in 2002 Jim Sauter joined Johnny, Tim and Jay for the Sauter family race. Jim got a ride for Richard Childress' #29 car that is driven by Kevin Harrick part time. Jim had Advance on his car and Rockwell Automation on the car as well. This was Jim's first start of the season and third of his career. It really was a family affair until Jim had an engine problem ending his day in the 31st spot. Tim Sauter finished 9th.

Next Week: GNC Live Well 250 at Daytona International Speedway on FX at 7:30 p.m. (on Friday)
