Todd Bodine wins Kroger 300 presented by Oreo...

A raining Saturday night led to the postponement of the Kroger 300 presented by Oreo. In those first 84 laps we had a heck of a race. At about 8:00 p.m. ET, the Kroger 300 presented by Oreo began. The race was doing well until we had lap 75. Jack Sprague, the NASCAR Busch Series points leader, got into the #25 Marines Ford driven by Bobby Hamilton Jr. and got into a big wreck. The #25 an #24 cars were damaged beyond repair. Aston Lewis Jr. spun in the grass and the #14 Harrah's Chevy hit the wall. Then the dreaded rain came after the caution. Then the red flag and then the race was postponed until Sunday at 1:00 p.m. ET, since the Michigan race was on FOX at that time FX decided to tape delay the race until 5:30 p.m. On the Internet many found out that Todd Bodine won and then that meant some didn't want to watch the race. I sat down and saw the ending of the race. I tuned in on the race at lap 105. In those laps after the caution many drivers made pit stops. Scott Riggs was wining and was beating them badly. Then Jack Sprague got into some more trouble and caused another caution. Then Jason Keller's day came to an end when his Albertson's Ford blew the engine. Keller had his 3rd DNF in the last 5 races. Jason was the point's leader not to long ago and now he has more problems. Then the final caution came out and it set up a 3-lap dash to the cash at Kentucky. Todd Bodine was our race leader and when Glenn Jarrett asked his car owner where would he like to be he said, "We like were we are right now". Then Greg Biffle got around him on the restart and took the lead. Then on the final lap, final corner, Todd Bodine rubs up against Biffle once, twice then three times. But on the third time Biffle went flying into the grass and finished second. Biffle then spun onto the racetrack then spun back into the grass across pit road and didn't hit one thing. A photo finish at Kentucky! NASCAR Winston Cup should run there!
