Kevin Lepage behind wheel for Dover...

Kevin Lepage, who did a great job subbing for the injured Jeff Purvis, will run this weekend's race at Dover Downs International Speedway in Dover, Delaware. Kevin, who last year was in the #4 for 22 races and in the #7 for 3 races, is happy just to help out one of his friends. Kevin started the year out in his #71 BGN team that had no money. He ran as long as he could with his own money and then closed the doors until a sponsor is found. Not only has Kevin been sidelined from the action due to no money, he also hasn't been hired to do any other fill in Cup jobs. But for now Kevin is happy just to be racing. Last weekend was his first time in a Cup car in over a year and his first time in a BGN car in over a month.

Fine for #54 BGN crew chief...

Tony Lambert, who served as crew chief for Mark Martin's #60 Winn-Dixie Ford, when Mark was running the Busch Series. Was fined $22,500 for the #54 Toys R Us Chevy to be 1/4 of an inch to low of the 50 1/2-inch requirement that the NASCAR Busch Series has. So NASCAR took $22,500 bucks from Tony Lambert and now the team has to run harder shocks so that doesn't happen again. Just to make this clear Kevin Grubb (driver of the #54) finished 8th in the CarQuest 300.

Dover BGN Preview...

The NASCAR Busch Series heads to the Monster Mile this weekend for the MBNA Platinum 200 on FX. Last years winner was Jimmy Spencer. Not only is Jimmy looking for his 2nd win in a row there, Jack Sprague and Jason Keller look to do battle at the Monster Mile. Two Hundred points separate the top 10 so Dover will have an impact on the point's race. Also, Jeff Green is looking for two wins in a row.

Elder Sadler plans to run Kroger 300...

Hermie Sadler plans to return to the Busch Series on June 15th. He will run the Little Trees Chevy at the Kroger 300 presented by Oreo at the Kentucky Motor Speedway. Hermie, who hasn't run the Busch Series in a while, wants to win this race. As you may already know is running a limited NASCAR Winston Cup schedule due to money problems, and while owning his own team, will run some Busch Races.
