2005 Rookie Class

Paul Wolfe is another developmental driver that we saw race in 2004. He'll be the rookie driver of the #6 Evernham Motorsports Dodge entry with former Busch Series veteran/star Elton Sawyer as crew chief. With Sawyer's experience and Evernham's tutorage, I look for great things from this young fellow in 2005 and 2006. If Wolfe gets off to a solid start, I think he stands just as good a chance to take the rookie title as Sorenson.

Also competing for the rookie title next season in the Busch Series are Jennifer Jo Cobb in the #50 Chevrolet for a new team owned by Keith Coleman; Denny Hamlin in the #20 Chevrolet for Joe Gibbs Racing; Brandan Miller in the #21 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing; and Brent Sherman in the #58 Dodge in a new team for Akins Motorsports.
