Throughout all the challenges and stressfull weekends, Harvick has managed to not only succeed in amazing fashion, he has done it with style. You’d think all of those hurdles would have run him down and eroded his attitude. Instead, Harvick earned the name "Happy" and on top of everything else he got married during the Las Vegas race weekend DeLana Linville on 2/28/01.

Next season Childress and Harvick have decided to allow Johnny Sauter to drive the No. 2 Chevy full time and let Harvick focus all of his energy on the Winston Cup Cicuit. It’s hard to say how he’ll fair in 2002, but if the past is any indication, he’ll take the Winston Cup Series by storm. It’ll surprise me if Harvick doesn’t end the 2002 season in the top 5 in points if not the championship.
