Busch Comments for Oct 1-14th!

Yates Rumor

The word is out that Robert Yates has been looking for enough quality people to form a 10 man team. Ricky Rudd's name was mentioned... Does this mean a brand new Cup team? Busch? Truck? Travel to Japan was specified, so we'll just have to wait and see, stay tuned...

Hut Gets Another Go-Around

Hut Stricklin recently tested with Jarrett/Favre Motorsports. If they can secure sponsorship, he'll probably be driving a second car for them at the November 11-12 Homestead-Miami Speedway weekend. A double whammy for Hut, way to go! Jason can only benefit from Hut's experience and tenacity. Here's Hut's career stats, from the NASCAR Online site:

Little 'M' is Back!

Steadman Marlin will be making his second appearance in the Busch Series in the October 29th Sam's Town 250 at Memphis Motor Speedway. Right now, he's still mowing them down in the Late Model Division at Nashville Speedway, just like his Dad used to do. Steadman's first foray into the Busch Series (April 8th at Nashville) resulted in a 30th place finish, after getting caught up in a crash. He HAD gained 15 spots before his luck turned, though.
