Sterling Marlin still manages to sit atop the championship point's standings with 645. Rookie Ryan Newman has the second spot, 74 points down. Daytona 500 winner Ward Burton hangs onto third, 80 points down from the leader. Mark Martin is still in fourth place, 88 points down from the leader, with Tony Stewart moving up six positions with his win to fifth place, 101 points down from Marlin. Positions six thru ten are held by; Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch, Rusty Wallace, Jeff Burton, and rookie Jimmy Johnson.
Next Week........ Race No. 5 is the Carolina Dodge Dealers 400 on "The Track Too Tough to Tame" at Darlington Raceway, Darlington, South Carolina. The event is scheduled to be televised live by the FOX Network on Sunday, March 17th, at 12:30 P.M. Eastern. Qualifying for the event is scheduled to be televised live by MSG and the FOX Sports Networks on Friday, March 15th, at 2 P.M. Eastern. Last season's winner of the Darlington spring race was Dale Jarrett. He was followed across the finish line by Steve Park, Jeremy Mayfield, Jimmy Spencer, Sterling Marlin, John Andretti, Johnny Benson, Ricky Rudd, Bobby Hamilton, and Rusty Wallace.
