And so, in these weeks we've had a look at some of the animals worshiped in ancient Egypt - the crocodile, the cobra, the scorpion and now the cat/lioness and the cow/bull. The ancient people learned to regard these majestic creatures with great respect and to share their harsh landscape. Perhaps we should take note of this and show more respect for the great creatures that share our space as well.

A very interesting article. You might want to try the Fantasy books by Sarah Isidore called "The Daughters of Bast." They mix Egptian mythology with Celtic mythology. The goddesses of Bast and Sekhmet ...
