Of course he did.
Like Sir Percival and Sir Tristan, Sir Lancelot also came close to achieving the Holy Grail. After many days of prayer and fasting Lancelot came upon castle Carbonek (the holy grail castle). He was not permitted to enter though because of his moral sins with Queen Guinevere and against King Arthur and his knights. He was, however, given a wondrous vision of the Grail. But when Lancelot stepped too closely, he was knocked back by an intense fire that left him dazed for 24 days. We are nearing the end of our quest, dear readers. Join me next time for Sir Galahad...
