Web of Deception: Don't Get Caught in It

Web of Deception

The Internet is a great means of uniting Muslims from various backrounds as well as a platform for sharing knowledge about Islam with others. Anyone can build an Islamic website with no cost and little effort. While this is a great benefit for Muslims and non-Muslims alike, people who browse the Internet for Islamic information should be aware of the fact that some websites carrying the name "Islam" in their titles are actually quite anti-Islamic and designed with the intention to denegrate the religion and push people away from Islam. • Sites which claim that verses of the Qur'an are missing or have been altered. Also sites which claim to have "found" those verses. The Qur'an is unique in that it has remained unchanged in 1400 years of history: not even one letter of it has been tampered with in all that time.

  • Sites which denegrate the Prophets (peace be upon them) and/or the wives and Companions of Muhammed (saas), may Allah be
