Many people don’t believe in New Year’s Resolutions; perhaps because they assume they will fail to live up to their own expectations. Think of Resolutions as goals you set for yourself. Make them realistic but challenging. Understand that you may have to modify them to adapt to life’s changing circumstances and that changing them doesn’t make you a failure. Decide that you will give yourself ample time to accomplish each of these new goals you have set for yourself. But above all – enjoy exploring all the new territory that will come from pushing yourself in new directions and striving to achieve anything that you believe you can do.
