your music. Musicians are always welcome-Austin has become home to a lot of talent fleeing from New Orleans, for example. If nothing else, you may find it adds that bit of good press to your career, how you survived adversity, and still came back to write and/or perform. Musicians are a hardy lot, anyway-we are used to constant rejection and problems, and coming back to work some more. Who knows? You may help brighten the day of others going through the same messes, and keep them going, too.
