Web Turkey is here to show you where to go for "gobbling" down some great activities for the month of November. All "turkeys" are welcome! Just follow the turkey to find the sites "stuffed" with goodies. On your marks? Get set! GOBBLE!

Gobble Number ONE

Lullabies and other songs for kids has a an index that is very easy to navigate. There are many songs to choose from but the song I am spotlighting is Turkey in the Straw, in honor of the holiday that many Americans celebrate, which is Thanksgiving. The lyrics need some music, though, so here's another site that offers a midi which can be found at Diversi-Tune.

Gobble Number TWO

A collection of fun things to do on Thanksgiving OR in the classroom. When you arrive at this site you should treat yourself by wandering all over the place. You'll find much more than just fun and games but great Thanksgiving stories, and a cool spot to send someone a Thanksgiving E-Card. Be sure and visit the Turkey Whackiness Page too.

Gobble Number THREE

Laura's Thanksgiving Fun Page. This is a cute site that has a page dedicated to Thanksgiving songs and poems. Plus there are other pages that offer ideas on Thanksgiving games and Thanksgiving art.

Other Links of Interest

The Thanksgiving Season.

Thanksgiving on the Web. This site has some great history on Thanksgiving and a teacher's guide too.

Thanksgiving Thoughts — What the kids think. I can see this idea working nicely in a Thanksgiving program.

More fun stuff from Gamesdomain.

Keep the kids entertained. - Something from Reader's Digest.

The Turkey Hunt.

Home School Zone has some great activities that can be used at school or at home. There are instructions that guide you in how to make paper turkeys, napkin rings, and turkey shirts. Sounds like fun!

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate!
To visitors that aren't celebrating Thanksgiving, thanks for visiting and I hope ALL will visit next week for an article that's a surprise, even to me at this point.
