Kez van Oudheusden

Kez

If you would like to see a really interesting aspect of Kez's work read Recipes for Antique Papers

The Experimental Web Mistress? Kez likes playing with fonts, backgrounds and animations. It is the kind of interest which goes hand in hand with paper making, bookmaking projects and ideas. I have gained the impression that Kez's ideas are linked to avenues of communication and the passing on of creative techniques. She certainly shares some of her ideas freely here

The Grants Writer. And so an image is appearing. We have met a woman with a wealth of experience in areas such as multi-culture, public art and school art projects. She has an established career as an artist and considerable web design skills under her belt tooboot. (She is publishing an article about getting Handmade Books online which will be published in Dimensions in April.) This leads us to the notion that Kez just might be a pretty crash hot negotiator when it comes to getting things done. If you would like to learn more about how she does her work and how she has achieved her own unique style of creativity....please read on .... the next three articles are about projects that Kez had initiated and the trials and tribulations of a project creator who took on the monumental and successfully developed environments and installations which have a lasting and empowering community value and inspire others to want to do the same.

  • New Farm Mural Project A part of which is "Book Mural" on New Farm Library Wall. About 200 schoolchildren made clay leaves to make up the tree which was a feature of that mural. This article is about setting up a community project and what goes on behind the scenes.

  • "A magical mystery tour or rather a magical mystery pathway now exists at Paterson Park, Northgate, a northern Brisbane suburb. This is one of the latest community projects designed by Kez van Oudheusden. Using ceramics, sandstone and landscaping, a collective which included artsworkers, local residents and other community groups created a seemingly enchanted landscape" . . . . .
