MS Doesn't Discriminate

Here is a list of notables that currently are battling MS. As you can see from this list, MS does not discriminate. This list includes women, men, old, young, ethnic groups that are not limited to the simple Caucasian/African American groups.

No one knows the exact reason we develop multiple sclerosis. We are very young in our research, but also very fortunate to have medications that respond to holding off some of the exacerbations experienced.

When you look at this list, please remember that each of us are at a different stage in our disease. Don't beat yourself up if your particular challenges prevent you from accomplishing everything you would like.

MS, to me, is a disease that teaches us to be patient and clever in outsmarting some of our challenges. MS is a disease that makes you appreciate your good days - and work with those days when the situation with your health is not optimum.

Take time to look over the list and remember that this disease might be a 'monster' to us all, but it's up to us to keep on the cutting edge of research so our list will one day be non-existent.
