and musical talent at this time as well. In parochial school, Christ Church Lutheran School on Indian School Road just west of 40th St. I had a very good teacher, Mr. James Reith. He appealed to my enthusiasm for discovery. He was also a fair singer and taught me to sing. He encouraged me toward excellence by saying things like, "You are very perceptive," or "You have a beautiful voice." At 12 years old my hunger for validation and love commandeered my intelligence and ignited in me a burning desire to gain the most treasured validation of all, God's. So I cultivated my talents, while an insatiable need to "Know" drove me to read and observe. I cut my reading teeth on Emanuel Velocovski's "Earth in Upheaval", a treatise on the geological theory of "Poll Reversal". Then I read "When World's Collide" and acquired a preferred taste for Science Fiction. I have read everything written by the Deans of science fiction, Heinlein, Asimov, Paul Anderson, to name just a few.

       Then, in 6^th grade, something Mr. Reith did triggered a series of flashbacks from my early childhood abuses and then an emotional breakdown. After that breakdown and for most of the rest of my life I've not been able to succeed in very much of anything, including 5 marriages. I did work for my father for 4 years, off and on, between breakdowns and marriages. I have also learned much about relationships and how I participated in the discomforts I experienced during them and after them. I have also succeeded in developing nurturing, fairly safe environments for myself, while I've continued to explore God and my relationship to Him, Her, or IT.

       When I was 16 I had an experience with aliens or an alternate reality or something. I have no idea how to classify it. I would go out into the desert, less than a block from my home, and yell at God for all the inconsistencies between what the Bible promised and my personal experience, which was pretty awful at that time. Anyway, one night while doing this, I was "visited" by a swirling light that spoke to me and taught me about God and energy, magnetism and other interesting things. I wrote it all down and still have my notes from that time. Then, when I was 19, I had a traffic accident while making deliveries for my father's business. I suffered a broken hip and was in a lot of pain. Also, during that time I was attending classes with a metaphysical teacher and he sent me a meditation I could
