Christopher Reeve, Romantic Superhero

When it was released to theaters, "Somewhere In Time" went largely unnoticed by audiences, and it was considered a flop. It found new life when it appeared on fledgling cable networks later on, and it seemed that once people saw it, they were hooked. The classic theme, the unforgettable ending, and the sheer romance of the story created legions of fans, myself included. In fact, I knew my husband and I were destined to be together when we started talking about movies after we first met, and he told me how much he loved this movie. Fans have created web sites and newsletters devoted to the movie, cast and crew. There's even a special tribute weekend event every year at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan, where so much of the movie takes place. I swear I'll get there someday.

In memory of Christopher Reeve, watch this incredible film. No one saw it coming, but "Somewhere In Time" became a movie that stays with you, long after the credits stop rolling.
