Romance was the subject of her next major movie in the film, The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan (1979), where she is transported back in time to a past love by trying on an old wedding dress. Wagner married for a third time (1981) to Henry Kingi, a stuntman from the movie Bionic Woman. They have two sons; Dorian who was born in 1982, and Alex, in 1986. In the late 70’s her movie roles took on a depth of character. In 1979 she stared in The Incredible Journey of Doctor Meg Laurel (1979) as a young doctor tackling Appalachian hill folk. In the early 80’s Lindsay found major movies. A Judith Krantz novel for TV, Scruples (1981) was a movie about the rich filled with fashion fantasies. That same year she starred in Nighthawks with Sylvester Stallone fighting international terrorists. Ricochet was another headliner movie in 1991 with Denzel Washington, a cop accused of murder. Throughout her career bionic has been a key word for movies like: The Return of the Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman (1987), Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman (1989) and Bionic Ever After? (1994). Lindsay Wagner was married for a forth time to producer Lawrence Mortorff (1990 – 93) and now has a new love George Amiotte. Though her marriages have not lasted her career is still thriving. Bionic may be the term for her tremendous movie strength, but character is a word that describes her abilities, talent and determination with a real career in movies.
