The archetypal blonde or ding-a-ling of the late sixties on the variety show Laugh-In is now a leading lady that has had films grossing over $544,904,000. Take that to the bank!

“I love life. I wake up everyday excited to wake up. You want to know what I think? I think you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself, and start thanking the day instead of scowling at it.” These are the words of Goldie Hawn, the 54 year old actress, born November 21, 1945, in Washington DC.

She is still beautiful and a leading comedic actress, even in the movie Death Becomes Her (1992) she looked great, her secret? According to CyberSleaze she drinks a pulp of spinach, carrots and cucumber drink as a part of her staple diet.

Her real name is Goldie Studlendgehawn which she shortened to just Hawn. Born in Washington DC, the movie Protocol (1984) was a home-town effort and really made fun of the political system as a woman caught up in a mis-leading government position and living with two gay males. A great movie!

Foul Play (1978) is a great movie with Dudley Moore and beware of the midget murder mystery. With 27 films and executive director of six major films this woman has talent that goes undenied. She has been married a total of four times to which cost her $75,000 divorce settlement to her ex-husband, Gus Trikonis, and a $2 million Malibu home to another ex, Bill Hudson. Currently she has three children. Oliver and Kate Hudson and a son Wyatt by her long-time love and live in, Kurt Russell.

Maybe experience gave her the edge in the movie The First Wives Club (1996) in which she teamed up with Diane Keaton and Bette Midler to stick it to their philandering husbands, which became her highest grossing film. “I’m a woman who was raised to believe that you are not complete unless you have a man. Well, in some ways it’s true. I am a feminist to a point. But I’m not going to deny the fact that I love to be with men.” quoted on mrshowbiz.go.com.

Goldie and Kurt Russell built a huge hideaway in Muskoka, Canada, a lakefront cottage right across from the comedian Martin Short’s summer place. The lake is a celebrity community with Harry Hamlin and drummer Alex Van Halen, an extensive wealthy community north of Toronto. But – the rich still don’t have their wanted privacy. Their dock is under constant surveillance and binoculars are aimed to catch a glimpse at the movie couple.
