Mild mannered, yet sometime suave and naïve, Noah Wyle is an actor to watch for future films.
He has starred in the famous ER episodes and even on the comedy Friends and appeared on The Rosie O'Donnell Show . He finally managed a staring role in a main stream film with TNT’s The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004). As the character, Flynn Carsen, he saves the world by retrieving the mystical powered Spear of Destiny from evil hands. Noah is the son of an electrical engineer and an orthopedic head nurse, born June 4, 1971, one of six children. Noah’s adventures into film had begun from his early love for the stage. From high school to college, he started doing various jobs and acting on stage. His first appearance in film was unaccredited in the cult classic Lust in the Dust (1985) staring the Divine, a true farce comedy of the west. From there he appeared in Crooked Hearts (1990). He recently came to my attention in his new movie The Librarian: Quest for the Spear (2004). Out of curiosity I wondered where else his face had appeared. The Librarian was a easy going adventure that is good for a rainy day. Noah is even highly likable as a nerd with an over-achievement for knowledge. A major movie he appeared in was none other than A Few Good Men (1992) as Cpl. Jeffrey Barnes. Shadowed greatly by the major characters; he nonetheless is on the credits. He appeared in Donny Drako (2001) a mystery, scifi thriller and in the hard hitting movie Enough (2002) with Jennifer Lopez. As a native of Hollywood, CA, where he still lives after purchasing actress Bo Derek's ranch in Santa Ynez Valley, CA. He is currently married to Tracy Warbin (makeup artist) and has two children (daughter, Auden and a son, Owen Strausser). He might be best known for his 10 year appearance on ER, but he has two new movies in the works: The Californians (drama, 2005) and a second sequal The Librarian 2 (2006) Go To Page: 1 2
