Buffed, classy and tattooed. What more can you want in a tough guy with great looks and high action to meet any film standards?

Lorenzo Lamas is the son of two prominent Hollywood stars. His father was Fernando Lamas, a well-known debonair actor, and his mother was stage and screen actress Arlene Dahl. What more could you have going for you?

Lorenzo made his destiny in film through directing, stunts and acting. A powerhouse of charm and with a cascade of movie titles he is a star in his own right.

He was born Jan. 20, 1958 in Santa Monica, California, but he moved with his mother at the age of 13 to New York where he attended Admiral Farragut Academy (1974), a military school, for four years. He left there with intentions to study to be a veterinarian but was side tracked while he visited his father, Fernando, on the film set of The Cheap Detective. There the acting bug struck him and with his father’s encouragement he attended Tony Barr's Film Actors Workshop.

Lorenzo’s first film appearance happened early on in life as he appeared in the western, 100 Rifles (1969) in which he played an un-credited Indian boy at the age of eleven. His real lifetime break was when he appeared in the John Travolta film Grease (1978) as the character, Tom Chisum.

The next movie Take Down (1979) he got lead billing as he played a high school wrestler whose winning rest the hopes of a small town and struggles with a drunken father and odds against his dreams.

It wasn’t until Falcon Crest (1981-1990) he became a lead night time name and heartthrob bad-boy of the hot nighttime soap opera. He played the character of Lance Cumson who struggled to control a winery between to families.

Lorenzo married Michelle Smith in 1983 (press spokesperson of Falcon Crest) and had two children. His second wife was Victoria Hilbert and after his divorce he was later introduced to the 17-year-old, Kathleen Kinmont, daughter of Falcon Crest co-star Abby Dalton. He married Kinmont in Vegas and was divorced for the third time.

Falcon Crest was a great series but was a stormy one in real life for Lorenzo. Another starlet, Daphne Ashbrook, from Falcon Crest, accused him as being the father of her child. Like most famous stars, surviving marriages are a rare thing.

Lorenzo married yet once again to Shauna Sand in 1996 and is now separated. He even took her to court and placed a restraining order against her because, he claims, she had physically attacked him in the past.
