From Sean Connery, who started it all, to today’s James Bond – Pierce Brosnan, the 007 world has continued to expand. So celebrate the man who defined James Bond with a look back at Connery’s films and get a little taste of how things have evolved with a look at the Brosnan films of the 90s and today.


Die Another Day (2002)

Jinx: My friends call me Jinx.
James Bond: My friends call me James Bond.
Jinx: Well that's a mouth full.

James Bond: You know, you're cleverer than you look!
Q: Better than looking cleverer than you are.

James Bond: Do you believe in bad luck?
Jinx: Let's just say my relationships don't seem to last.

The World is Not Enough (1999)

James Bond: Construction was never my specialty.
M: Quite the opposite, actually.

Elektra King: You can't kill me, you would miss me too much.
James Bond: I never miss.

Elektra King: You could have had the world.
James Bond: The world is not enough.
Elektra King: Foolish sentiment.
James Bond: Family motto.


Tomorrow Never Dies (1997)

Paris: I used to look in the papers every day for your obituary.
James Bond: Sorry to disappoint you.

Q: It's the insurance damage waiver for your beautiful new car. Will you need collision coverage?
James Bond: Yes
Q: Fire?
James Bond: Probably
Q: Personal Injury?
James Bond: I hope not, but accidents do happen.
Q: They frequently do with you.
James Bond: Is there any other protection I need?
Q: Only from me 007, unless you bring that car back in pristine order.

Paris Carver: Tell me James. Do you still sleep with a gun under your pillow?


Diamonds are Forever (1971)

Sir Donald Munger: Tell me, Commander, how far does your expertise extend into the field of diamonds?
James Bond: Well, hardest substance found in nature, they cut glass, suggest marriages, I suppose it replaced the dog as the girl's best friend. That's about it.
M: Refreshing to hear that there is one subject you're not an expert on!

Plenty O'Toole: Hi, I'm Plenty.
James Bond: But of course you are.

James Bond: What can I bring you back from Holland?
Miss Moneypenny: A diamond? In a ring?
James Bond: Would you settle for a tulip?
Miss Moneypenny: Mm, yes.

Tiger Tanaka: You know what it is about you that fascinates them, don't you? It's the hair on your chest. All Japanese men have beautiful bare skin.
