Happy "Halloween"

Halloween…1978

It was a cold night, October 31, 1963, when a young boy killed his sister. As a result, the boy Michael is placed in Smith’s Grove Warren County Sanitarium. Dr. Sam Loomis is assigned as his doctor and can see the evil that lurks inside his young patient. Then in 1978, shortly before Halloween, Michael escapes from the sanitarium to repeat his deed of that Halloween fifteen years earlier. As Michael stalks three young girls, Dr. Loomis heads out on his trail hoping to stop the terror that could lie ahead.

Brackett: A man wouldn’t do that (referring to a partially eaten dog).
Dr. Loomis: This is not a man.

Dr. Loomis: I met him 15 years ago. I was told there was nothing left. No reason, no conscience, no understanding, even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, good or evil, right or wrong. I met this six-year old child, with his blind, pale, emotionless face and the blackest eyes…the devil’s eyes. I spent eight years trying to reach him, and then another seven years trying to keep him locked up, for I realized what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply evil!

Sheriff Leigh Brackett: It’s Halloween; everyone’s entitled to one scare.

Halloween H20…1998

Twenty years later, the sister Michael stalked and hoped to kill is still alive. Michael wants things otherwise. After faking her death and running from her brother for twenty years, Laurie is ready to face him and put an end to her nightmares and constant fear.

Will: What should I do?
Laurie Strode: Try to live.

Jimmy: Has anyone ever told you that second-hand smoke kills?
Nurse Marion: Yes, but they’re all dead.

Laurie: My brother killed my sister.
Will: How did he do that?
Laurie: With a really big, sharp kitchen knife.

Secretary: It’s Halloween. I guess everyone is entitled to one good scare.
Laurie: I’ve had my share.
