SHERIFF ROLLINS: Okay boys, gather round here and listen up. We're shuttin' it down. Wyatt Earp's here to mop up.
GERARD: That's funny, "Wyatt Earp".
BONES: Whatever happened with that thing about your wife?
KIMBLE: It's not over.
GERARD: Listen up ladies and gentlemen. Our fugitive has been on the run for 90 minutes. Average foot speed over uneven ground baring injuries is four miles per hour. That gives us a radius of six miles. What I want out of each and every one of you is a hard-target search of every gas station, residence, warehouse, farmhouse, henhouse, outhouse, and doghouse in that area. Checkpoints go up at 15 miles. Your fugitive's name is Dr. Richard Kimball. Go get him.
GERARD: Newman, what are you doing?
NEWMAN: I'm thinking.
GERARD: Well, think me up a cup of coffee and a chocolate doughnut with some of those little sprinkles on top, while you're thinking.
KIMBLE: I didn't kill my wife.
GERARD: I don't care.
HEAD TROOPER: Look, I don't mean to tell you your job, but maybe one person in a million could've survived that fall. The guy's fish food.
GERARD: Then find me the fish that ate him.
RENFRO: When I die, I'm gonna come back just like you.
GERARD: Oh, you mean happy and handsome?
KELLY: If this guy existed, believe me someone would've found him.
NICHOLS: Richard Kimble... I saw him two days ago. He stopped me in my car. I gave him some money.
GERARD: Where was this?
NICHOLS: Outside our tennis -- my tennis club.
GERARD: Did he ask you for help?
NICHOLS: I volunteered. He wouldn't accept it.
GERARD: Why do you think he came back to Chicago?
NICHOLS: He didn't tell me.
GERARD: I didn't ask you that, sir. I'm sure he was trying to protect you from having to lie for him. Dr. Nichols, you really want to help him? You really want to be his friend? Then you'll help us bring him in unharmed.
