It is time for a fun-filled, old-fashioned Griswold family Christmas. Christmas Vacation stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo in this Christmas classic about Clark's attempt to have the best Christmas ever.
Clark: Burn some dust, eat my rubber. Russ: Dad, I think you mean burn rubber and eat my dust. Ellen: I don't want to spend the holidays dead. Neighbor: Hey Griswold, where do you think you're going to put a tree that big? Clark: Bend over, and I'll show you. Neighbor: You have a lot of nerve talking to me that way Griswold. Clark: I wasn't talking to you. Clark: I'll park the cars...and I'll be outside for the season. Clark: When was the last time I overdid anything? Audrey: Do you sleep with your brother? Do you know how sick and twisted that is mother? Ellen: I sleep with your father. Don't be so dramatic. Clark: You taught me everything I know about exterior illumination. Clark: Surprised Eddy? If I woke up tomorrow with my head stapled to the carpet I wouldn't be more surprised than I am right now. Clark: Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead? Cousin Eddy: Naw, I'm doing just fine Clark. Eddy: I don't know if I should go sailing down no hill with nothing between the ground and my brain but a piece of government plastic. Clark: You really think it matters, Eddy? Bethany: Is your house on fire Clark? Clark: No, Aunt Bethany. Those are the Christmas lights. Russ: Mom, this box is meowing. Bethany: Grace? She passed away twenty years ago. Uncle Lewis: They want you to say grace, the blessing. Bethany: I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America... Everyone: and to the republic, for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Clark: Amen. Eddy: I hope it's a fortune, Clark. Clark: I bet you do, Eddy. Eddy: I can't swim, Clark. Clark: I know that, Eddy. Clark: Where is Eddy? He usually eats these things. Catherine: Oh, not recently Clark. He read that squirrels are high in cholesterol. Clark: My cousin-in-law, whose heart is bigger than his brain... Eddy: Thank you Clark. Clark: is innocent. Go To Page: 1
