Matthew Broderick plays Inspector Gadget in the new Disney film of the same name. Despite his new go-go gadget performance, no one will ever forget where he hit it big and became more recognized by a character name than his own, as Ferris Bueller.

In the 80's classic, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Broderick plays a wise-guy high school kid who knows all the tricks and how to have all the fun. He takes a day off from school after a masterful performance convincing his parents he is sick. Taking a day off is not fun alone though, so he arranges for his best friend and girlfriend, Cameron and Sloan, to join him.

Any Ferris fan has seen the movie dozens of times and knows most of the lines by heart, but for those who are rookies-there are definitely some unforgettable moments and lines that could only be delivered by Ferris Bueller.

Ferris: (After faking out his parents) Incredible! One of the worst performances of my career, and they never doubted it for a second.

Ferris: I asked for a car, I got a computer. How's that for being born under a bad sign?

Jeannie: I don't believe this. If I was bleeding out my eyes you guys would still make me go to school.

Ferris: The key to faking out the parents is the clammy hands. It's a good non-specific symptom. A lot of people will tell you that a phony fever is a dead lock, but if you get a nervous mother you could land in the doctor's office. That's worse than school. What you do is fake a stomach cramp, and when you're bent over moaning and wailing, you lick your palms. It's a little childish and stupid; so is high school.

Ed Rooney: I did not achieve this position in life by having some snot-nosed punk leave my cheese out in the wind.

Ferris: A) You can never go too far, and B) If I'm going to get caught, it's not going to be by a guy like that.

Ferris: If you're not over here in fifteen minutes, you can find a new best friend.
Cameron: You've been saying that since the fifth grade.

Ferris: Only the meek get pinched. The bold survive.

Cameron: What'd I do?
Ferris: You killed the car.

Ferris: Hey, Cameron. You realize if we played by the rules, right now we'd be in gym?

Cameron: Why'd you kick me?
Ferris: Where's your brain?
Cameron: Why'd you kick me?
Ferris: Where's your brain?
