Disney never fails when it comes to feature length animated films. With each new movie, little boys find a new hero and girls a new favorite idol, whether it's Ariel, Belle, or Meg. And Meg it is in the 1997 movie Hercules. Part of what makes each new character so endearing is what they say. This is unquestionably the case in this film, especially since you find yourself laughing at Hades.
Hades: How sentimental. You know, I haven't been this choked up since I got a hunk of moussaka caught in my throat. Hades: We dance, we kiss, we schmooze, we carry on, go home happy. Whad'ya say? Meg: I'm a big tough girl. I tie my own sandals and everything. Meg: You can't do that! You'll be killed! Hercules: Aren't you a damsel in distress? Phil: I trained them all! Odysseus...Perseus...Theseus...A lot of seus-es. Meg: Is wonderboy here for real? Meg: You know how men are. They think 'No' means 'Yes' and 'Get lost' is 'Take me, I'm yours'. Hercules: I'm the most famous person in all Greece. I'm an action figure. Hades: It's a small underworld after all, huh? Hades: Zeusie, I'm home! Hercules: You know, when I was a kid I would have given anything to be exactly like everybody else. Meg: Megara, my friends call me Meg. At least they would if I had any friends. So did they give you a name along with all those rippling pectorals?
