Best of the Web - Welcome to Raleigh UK web siteRaleigh's Newly updated site, Welcome to Raleigh UK web site @ http://www.raleighbikes.com/live/main/in... has added many nice new features that the beginner to advanced rider will enjoy. Raleigh has included on the site an overview of the companies history in a link called "Heritage". At this link you will learn of the companies start in 1888 by Sir Frank Bowden and its place in today’s market. Another nice link on the site is called "You and Your Bike". Here the people at Raleigh help provide information on how to keep your bike working in tip top shape. The areas covered are, Gear Tuning, Go Single-speed (All about Track bikes or what we call "Fixed Wheel bikes"), Grease Up Your Bike, Puncture Prevention, V-Brakes, and Wheel Truing. The Raleigh Web site also has all the other stuff you’d expect from a bike manufacture web site, like products and accessories but what I like about the site is the focus not on just the products. At the site you get the impression that rider is as important as the bike and this makes a lot of sense, plus it’s a breath of fresh air. One such example is it “FAQ” section. Many bike companies have used this section to answer question about its products. Raleigh on the other hand uses the “FAQ” to answer questions that the riders have about riding. Take a visit!
