Club MTB can afford to do this because it receives some of it funding from banner advertisements, which are few and non intrusive to the user, so if you visit Club MTB give the banners a click. The site offers a wide verity of services to the Mountain Bike web community. You can join a club or start your own. Once you join a club, you can receive information on group rides, event news and other dated materials via E-mail. A great feature of this system is that it can maintain a list of who accepted the ride or event notices and plans to show up. This is a big help when you're the ride leader because you can know who and how many people to expect on the ride. Each Club has a Members Directory, which contains contact information, member information, favorite trails, and member photos.

In the Site also offers features like, Bike Shop Finder, Trail Finder, Photo Gallery, Single Track Forum, Group Messaging, and a Classifieds section. If all of this hasn't sold you on Club MTB, go to the site and use their Guest Tour Feature, which is a very nice show and tell about what the site has to offer.

I really like this site. Mostly for the concept and features. The people I ride with have tried to get me to do this type of thing on my own site but it was always too much work for me to handle on my own. This site makes it easy to do the administrative activities. You don't have to write the HTML web page information, you just input your information in a form and it does the rest. This makes managing the Club or group activities a snap.
