These questions address the individual aspects of motherhood. Whether it be the frustration of napless days or the sweet smell of a newborn's neck, these details are important even while they are vastly underreported. I find that now, as the mother of young children, I am most comfortable in the company of other mothers. We are all, I believe, "good mothers." It is our daily experiences and emotions, however insignificant they may seem on the surface, that prompt us to transcend that easily bestowed label and emerge as unique and important individuals.
