I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel in the latter days and that today Gordon B. Hinckley is the true and living prophet and mouthpiece of God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true.
I am so thankful for all of the many blessings I enjoy. I am thankful at this time of year that so many remember Him and praise Him. I hope we can remember our Savior throughout the entire year and live each day to the best of ability. He wants each one of us to return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father someday. I hope we can all, someday, become like our Father in Heaven as we are admonished to do in the scriptures. "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48) With the Lord nothing is impossible, even perfection. He will lead us back to His presence if we will only allow Him to do so.
I would like to urge any of you who are not yet members of The Church of Jesus Christ to contact full-time missionaries and find out for yourselves if the Church is true. Read The Book of Mormon and test the promise given in Moroni 10:4-5. Your prayers will be answered and you can know for yourselves whether or not the gospel, in its entirety, is now upon the earth. I would like to encourage any of you who are currently members to reach out to your friends and aquaintances and share the gospel. Invite them into your home for Family Home Evening, invite them to church or other activities, but most of all, invite them into your hearts and pray for guidance and inspiration. With the Lord's help we can bring His message to any and all who are seeking it. We can watch our friends and families enter the waters of baptism. "And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me in the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me." (Doctrine and Covenants 18:16) We have a wonderful message, we need to share it.
