The sealing ordinance binds couples and families together so that death may not break those bonds. When a couple is sealed and married inside the temple, we believe it is for time and all of eternity. As we are married, we are not told it is until death do us part, but rather, throughout all of eternity. Children born to couples who are sealed are said to be born in the covenant, which means they are automatically sealed to their parents. Children born to couples before the sealing may be sealed at a later date. We also serve as proxies to seal together families that have died without the benefit of this ordinance.
We believe that temples are houses of God. We respect and honor the sacred work that is accomplished within the walls of each temple. Nowhere on earth can we find the same kind of peace that exists inside the temple. As we enter the temple we can feel the Spirit of the Lord and can know for a surety that we are involved in His work. Go To Page: 1 2
