Writing Your Life: Keeping A Journal for You and Yours - Page 2© Susan Jensen
One problem many people have with journaling is the complete honesty it seems to suggest. We balk at putting our real selves out in the open for our children and grandchildren to see. What, then, should be penned on the pages of our journals? President Kimball answered this question, saying, “The truth should be told, but we should not emphasize the negative.” He continued, addressing the issue of what should be documented: “Write your goings and your comings, your deeper thoughts, your achievements and your failures, your associations and your triumphs, your impressions and your testimonies.”
