Revisiting the Story-Stick

The action of the wind on the warped strings in the flue had generated the eerie noises.

- Big Cat Sightings- In September, 1998, there was a cryptozoological report in from Woodstock, Ontario, where I spent a summer working as a dancer. The creature in question was a "phantom panther", a large wild cat mysteriously reported well outside of its usual range. Two men spotted the three-foot animal in a dead tree at the edge of a field near the highway. As is common with unusual big cat sightings, neither police nor local residents were able to locate the animal again. Another unexplained "phantom cat", this time clearly described as a black panther, was sighted the year before this one in London, Ontario.
