Crouching Tiger, not so Hidden Classic
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was awarded an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film. This film broke all records in China, and even Americans, who are not renowned for their embrace of foreign films, went to see this movie and loved it. Michelle Yeoh has said that she would love to do the story of Li Mu Bai and Shu Lien in the first four novels, and Lee is rumored to be considering it. This film is the perfect date movie, with enough romance for her and enough action for him (or vice versa!) This film even interested me in the martial arts genre. Just a little.
