Lost Contents is Found!!
Some five months after this project was halted, the Lost Continents Website has announced that the developers have "made significant progress towards bringing Lost Continents back into the light." Further details on the resumption of production of this pulp-fiction based MMOG are still pending, but there is a rundown on how the game concepts have been tweaked since last we heard from them.

Neocron Open Beta
The Neocron Open Beta client is now available through their site at http://www.neocron.com. This game is being advertised as the only MMOG that "brings you a dense Cyberpunk atmosphere." Hmmmm… You don't see that kind of description just anywhere! Be warned, though, the client is a whopping 1.1GB download!

Faction Earth Released
As per their press release, "Faction Earth has cleared beta stages and is now available to the public." This MMOG is set in the "corporate mega-cities of Earth in the year 2125" and incorporates "corporate wars, industrial espionage, super-hackers, mastery of newly discovered magic, battling factions, and a constant struggle of humanity against its own genetic creations gone awry." Funcom Introduces "Booster Packs"
Funcom has announced a plan to sell "booster packs" for Anarchy Online. These packs will offer features in the works for their Shadowlands expansion pack. Why? Because the full expansion pack won't be ready for everybody's Christmas stocking! The packs are said to offer new land control features "along with additional graphic updates and new sounds."
