EQ Gold in Store! And More!

Keith Parkinson Joins Sigil Games Online as Art Director
Early this month, Sigil Games Online, Inc. announced that Keith Parkinson, the acclaimed artist and game industry veteran, had accepted the position of Art Director. This reunites Parkinson with his EverQuest colleagues Brad McQuaid and Jeff Butler as a co-founder of their new company.

Lineage II - Chaotic Chronicles
Lineage has announced an upcoming prequel! 'Chaotic Chronicles' will be set hundreds of years before the first game, taking players to "a land ruled by princes and swayed by the Blood Pledge." This new game will take advantage of Unreal engine technology and will be the first Lineage to be in 3D.

EverQuest Galore!
SOE has recently announced that, in addition to the EverQuest sequel - EverQuest II - there will also be a new expansion pack, EverQuest: The Planes of Power; and a new console game, EverQuest Online Adventures.

Additionally, Sony Online has announced 'EverQuest Gold Edition and EverQuest Atlas'. The Gold Edition will include the original game, plus all four of the expansions (including The Planes of Power). It will also contain a pewter figure of one of the game's characters, an EverQuest comic, four cloth maps of the world of Norrath, and a complete manual and new user guide. The whole package will ship in a large, gold-colored tin box. No pricing information is available yet, but the special edition should be available later this year, around the same time The Planes of Power is released.

Last, but certainly not least, EverQuest Atlas will be a printed collection of approximately 170 maps which will detail all of the EQ zones. WooHoo! Maybe I won't spend all my time lost now...

Myst Online Announced!
Ubi Soft(R) Entertainment, has announced an exclusive worldwide deal with Cyan Worlds, Inc. to publish and operate Myst(R) Online, slated to launch sometime in 2003. Stay tuned for more news on this exciting game product!

Matrix MMORPG Announced
Warner Bros., Monolith Productions and EON Entertainment are currently producing a MMOG based on "The Matrix" franchise. The game will be a re-creation of the virtual world of "The Matrix," and able to accommodate tens of thousands of players in a single shared environment . "Online", as it is called, will premiere its new Matrix Web site on May 16, 2003, when the teaser trailer for the two upcoming Matrix films will appear nationwide in theaters.
