Black Moon Chronicles
Vircom has released Black Moon Chronicles Beta, Phase II, replacing the first beta version of the game that was released on 10/04/01. The new game client includes numerous updates and bug fixes, as well as new game features.
Anarchy Online
Themis Group Retained
In an effort to strengthen their focus on customer relations, Funcom has retained the Themis Group to consult on Anarchy Online. Themis is billed as a “game service solutions provider.”
Story Line Launched
Anarchy Online has finally launched it's story line! Funcom says that the "Anarchy Online animated series will run concurrently with the game, elaborating on the story and providing a context for the events, missions, characters, dungeons, monsters, items, and other story-related content that players will encounter in the game" Episode 101, entitled "Tricks or Treats" is now available for your viewing pleasure at:

Electronic Arts to Cut 36% of Jobs at EA.com Amid Game Delays
Electronic Arts Inc., the largest U.S. video-game software maker, has announced a cut of 36% of its workforce, or up to 250 jobs, at its EA.com online games unit. The company stated that the move is being made to reduce expenses amid product delays.
