Fighting Legends in Beta
Fighting Legends is now in Beta 3, with everything on schedule for a November 2001 release. The Fighting Legends back-story involves the crash of a giant robotic seedship, LEGRAN, into a passing planet, Exisle. Now, the ghosts of the both the different species onboard the ship and the native creatures of the planet are fighting for supremacy.
The character clans, reminiscent of Pokemon, are divided into nine different groups that occupy three different geographic zones – the Sky Realm (Rin, Pyron, and M-Clan), the Surface (Bearkats, Bio-Mechs, and Humans), and the Underworld (Arachin, Bone, and Wee). Each clan has access to five different characters, resulting in a total of 45 playable character types. It’s wacky, it’s weird, and you should give it a try.
