Baltimore Orioles Mike Hargrove has his work cut out for him. Big payroll, small number in the win column. Who knows what this team's problem is? Is it a manager problem? Is it no team discipline? Are all the players selfish? Or is it a combination of things? This team should be scoring runs by the bushel, but it doesn't. The pitching has a few holes in it as well. Here's the two things to look for during their 2000 season: one, Cal Ripken, Jr. will get his 3000 hits and retire at season end; two, Albert Belle will put up some phenomenal numbers that may put the Orioles in contention.

Final Prediction 1. New York Yankees 2. Boston Red Sox 3. Toronto Blue Jays 4. Tampa Bay Devil Rays 5. Baltimore Orioles

The prediction is pretty close to last years season ending standings, but the division hasn't changed a significant amount. However, this is the richest division in baseball, so maybe we will see the Yankees get challenged to a pennant race.
